Invitation to bid for Consultancy Services for Design and Construction Supervision of the Proposed Official Residence for the High Commission of the Republic of Uganda in Ottawa:

1. 1.  The Uganda High Commission in Ottawa has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of consultancy services for design and construction supervision of the proposed Official Residence of the High Commission of the Republic of Uganda in Ottawa.

2.  TheEntity invites sealed proposals for the provision of the above services.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open bidding method using the customized document for shortlisting of Consultants without publication of an expression of interestcontained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal ofPublic Assets Act, 2003, the PPDA (Procurement of Consultancy Services)Regulations, 2014 and the procedures described in Part 1: Proposal Procedures.

4.You may obtain furtherinformation and inspect the proposal documents at the address given below at7(a) from 9:00am and 4:00pm  

5. Proposals must be delivered to the addressbelow at 8(c) at or before 31st May 2017 at 11:00am. Allproposals must be accompanied by a proposalsecuring declaration (attached at the end of the Request for Proposal document)which must be valid until 30th September2017. Late proposals shall be rejected. Proposals will be opened in thepresence of the consultants’ representatives who choose to attend at theaddress below at 8(d) at 11:00a.m on 31st May 2017.

6. There shall be a pre–proposal meeting atthe Uganda High Commission, 350 Sparks Street – Suite 1210 Ottawa,Ontario, K1R 7S8, Telephone: 613 789 7797, Fax: 613 789 8909 on 19thMay 2017 at 9:30a.m, Interestedfirms will be led on a guided site visit after the pre-proposal meeting.

8. Please inform us, uponreceipt:

(a)      that you received the letter ofinvitation; and

(b)     Whether you will submit aproposal alone or in association.
