The Vice President Edward Sekandi woos Cuban Medical Researchers

The Vice President, Edward Ssekandi current in Cuba has asked the government of Cuba to establishe a modern Bio-tech centre in Uganda to facilitate medical research. 

Ssekandi, while visiting the Havana Centre for Genetic Engineering and Bio-Technology in Havana, observed that many Ugandans have had their limbs amputated due to diseases like cancer and diabetes, which affects their productivity and psyco-social relations, making them a burden to their families and society.
