Uganda High Commission in Ottawa is mandated to promote bilateral relations and protect Uganda's national intrests in Canada and other Countries of accreditation.

Inview of the wide scope of coverage of Canada,the High Commission is supported by Honorary Consulates of Uganda inToronto, Vancouver and Montreal. The Honorary Consuls help to enhance the High commissions out reach and bringings ervices closer to our clients as well as tap into opportunities for trade, investmentand tourism.

The mandate of the High commission is to promote and protect Uganda's national interests in the Canada. The interests relate to the pursuit for national development, prosperity, peace and security.

Uganda as "THE PEARL OF AFRICA" and indeed a country gifted by nature: all year green; mountains; Beautiful hills and plateaus; variety of fauna and flora; organic agricultural products such as coffee, Banana and fresh fruits, hospitable climate; intersected by the equator; lots of water bodies including Lake Victoria, the largest fresh water lake in the world, source of River Nile and second longest river in the world.The National Park with variety of animals.
